Emily Latiolais
Attorney
I am a St. Louis-area native and after spending thirteen years living and working in southern Louisiana, it was time to return home. I am a devoted attorney and practiced mediator with a proven track record of obtaining favorable outcomes through cooperative conflict resolution. I received my undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and I went on to attend Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law. I am licensed to practice law in the States of Missouri, Louisiana, and Illinois. Moving to St. Louis has proven to be a great choice for my myself, my husband, and our two dogs. You might find us walking the streets of Webster or exploring one of Missouri’s state parks on any given weekend.
In case you are wondering how to pronounce my very Cajun-French last name that my husband has graced me with: Latch-oh-lay.
Journey To Family Law
I have always been called to family law and domestic relations. In law school, I took every family law elective possible and practiced as a student attorney in the family law clinic, which offered services to those who could not afford it or who required court-appointed attorneys. After graduating law school, I took a position at a large personal injury firm and realized that not all practices of law are equivalent. Family law is for me, and I quickly found my way back to it. I enjoy this area of law because I see the real-time, real-life impact it has in my clients’ lives. Every case is different, and every client deserves a tailored approach. I happily joined Jones Family Law Group after several years of solo practice, where I worked diligently and empathetically to serve people from all walks of life. I bring the same compassion and dedication to the clients of Jones Family Law Group.
